Fishing is a real test of patience and local knowledge.... but if it is combined with other activities such as family picnics, it can be fun and enjoyable.... that is what we did at Lake Vallon in France on a cool and rainy Saturday afternoon.... the Lake is known to have trouts and other local species.... although we had no luck with the fish, we had awesome sights of the pristine forest reserves with the serene low clouds as if they are inviting us to come again...... this Lake is only a few hours drive from Geneva in Switzerland.....
Curry Laksa is traditionally prepared by the Chinese.... but the Malays also prepare this Laksa with some modifications to suit the individual taste buds.... in this particular occassion, we had prepared the hot, in fact very hot, Curry Laksa ala Bukit Tajau, especially for our friend, Edde, who is the Brunei resident of Geneva......
