Evian or Evian-les-Bains is a small fortified city of France located on the southern shore of Lake Geneva, just opposite Lausanne of Switzerland.... it is also the home of one of the most expensive bottled natural mineral water in the world named "Evian".... this mineral water is said to miraclously taking a 15-year journey, starting as a snow or rain, moving at rate of 1 to 2 cm a day, mineralised and purified over layers of sands and gravels from the pristine peaks of the French Alpes to the 800 meters below at Evian...

Visiting La Vernaz in France is just like revisiting my previous forestry works in Brunei Darussalam..... it is showing off its awesome gorges with man-made bridges together with its famous Devil's Bridge where many early explorers died falling down to the deep awful canyon below.... the pristine forests are very much appreciated by both local and foreign tourists....

this is the Devil's Bridge....

Food for thought is a phrase for something to be considered seriously..... when it comes to our juadah for sungkai in Geneva, after fasting for about 17 hours, then it is really a yummy home-cooked Malay cuisine that matters...... Edde and Haji can confirm this phrase.....
