Beraya in Brunei Darussalam is having a new trend, that is, beraya via invitations of Open Houses with time slots as the norm nowadays..... "beraya melanggar or visiting to any houses at any time" is not popular anymore..... now the only strangers we meet at raya gatherings are our distant relatives, their relatives and their friends whom we have not seen before....... unlike in the old days when complete strangers and their children including foreigners came also for the raya treats......
